Very good overall, massive upgrade from my planet z ride.
It has a very nice tone to it, and the quality is worth the price, especially considering it's still cheaper than many other similar cymbals. It is a bit washier than I was expecting, but I think that's mostly because I don't have any sound dampening, and thin rides are supposed to be that way anyways.

exactly the sound I was looking for
I already own two crashes from Mehteran's Valentino series. Since I absolutely loved their sound, I ordered a matching ride. It really has exactly the sound I was looking for, and it goes perfectly with the crashes. The three cymbals harmonize perfectly with each other.

Outstanding quality and sound
The Bosphorus 21" Philly Ride is of outstanding build quality. The sound is absolutely authentic. I would describe it as warm with excellent stick articulation. Thanks to the single rivet, it has a very pleasant wash that never becomes too overpowering.
