Its dark unlathed surface produces a short sustain and a projecting attack. These cymbals were initially developed for Jazz & Fusion but they are becoming more popular with Rock and Pop. The Bronze B20 alloy (80% copper, 20% tin, traces of silver) is almost identical to the alloy used by other major manufacturers for their high-end series. The proportions are slightly different from the others because Agean Cymbals has its own secret of alloy preparation.
